Terms of Service

Welcome to Lab451 ("we," "us," or "our"), accessible at lab451.org. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, tools, and services — including our free and paid llms.txt / llms-full.txt generator. By using Lab451 you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The Service

Lab451 provides a web-based tool that analyses a URL or supplied content and produces machine-readable llms.txt and llms-full.txt files in accordance with the open llmstxt.org specification. The service is available in two tiers:

• Free tier — limited generation quota per day, no account required.
• Paid tier — higher quotas, priority processing, and additional features, billed via Stripe.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Lab451. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts and Access

Some features may require you to create an account or authenticate. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@lab451.org if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Paid Plans and Billing

Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's terms of service. The following apply to paid plans:

• Pricing. Current pricing is displayed at checkout. We reserve the right to change prices with at least 14 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Billing cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds. Our policy on digital memberships and downloads emphasize that sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable due to the immediate, non-tangible nature of the products except where required by applicable law. This policy applies to the selected paid period only. See above 'Cancellation' policy for termination of membership. If you have concerns contact us at: hello@lab451.org.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Lab451 to:

• Generate files for websites or content you do not own or have explicit authorisation to represent.
• Scrape, stress-test, or probe our infrastructure in any way that disrupts normal operation.
• Circumvent rate limits, quotas, or other access controls.
• Reproduce, resell, or redistribute the service or its outputs as a competing product without written consent.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these rules without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Lab451 platform, its code, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. The llms.txt and llms-full.txt output files generated from your content belong to you. We claim no ownership over content you supply or the files we generate from it.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Our service may integrate with or link to third-party services (including Stripe for payments and AI providers for processing). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those services. Your use of any third-party service is governed by their own terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lab451 and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Lab451 and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction therein.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where practicable, by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
